It is highly advised to allow our team to perform the digitizing services in your home to minimize exposure. The majority of our orders can be completed in a single afternoon.
While scanning loose photos is the most economical option, we recognize the large amount of effort required to remove and return them to their respective albums. The team and I will happily accept your photo albums and return them in the same manner.
While every precaution is performed to preserve photos in their original state, the process of handling aging materials may cause damage to occur (ie tears). All efforts in repairing the damage will be performed at no cost to the client.
Upon receiving albums, photos will be divided into landscape and portrait orientations to maintain consistent positioning during the scanning process. Photos will be returned to the album in the order in which they were scanned if applicable.
Photos are scanned at 300dpi (Dot Per Inch) which is more than adequate for electronic viewing. If a higher resolution is desired by the client (ie for printing), please advise.
Pricing is dependent on the total number of photos scanned at the end of the session. The price per photo will be prorated accordingly to the sales quote.
With the trend of downsizing, we are acutely aware that many of our clients do not wish to keep their old photos once digitized. We are happy to offer the option of recycling your photos and videos at no charge.
