While being profitable is the priority of business, it is a blessing to be in a line of work where passion intersects. The fact that these photos and subsequent memories have been dormant for decades & are now able to resurface in the digital age makes our work meaningful.
The business you see before your eyes is the result of a few late night sessions in our Cosmic Chess Club™. The process of digitizing the photos of our families and friends seemed like a natural fit as a business to do the same for others. The bonus of having the opportunity for a few rounds of chess afterwards is sublime. Sobriety optional!

Being born in the 70’s means I’ve had the pleasure of living life in the analogue and the digital age. I have a deep appreciation for all things carbureted and cool. Motorcycles, cars and 2 stroke lawn care equipment give me the fizz. Nonetheless, I have an appreciation for the technological; material science, smart devices and accessibility to the world’s knowledge in your pocket to name a few.
Pre-COVID, you would’ve found me in Southeast Asia living a semi-charmed life. Parenthood and the pandemic quickly UNO-reversed everything and brought me back to Canada to pursue a real career. Not content with regular employment I tried to rekindle my love of the road via trucking and food delivery as a stop-gap. Somewhere between Hope and desperation, BC, it dawned on me that this opportunity was in front of my face for years! A go-to gift from me usually resulted in a digitally remastered printed photo of the giftee from the good ol’ days. They were always well received and appreciated Thus a business was hatched.
My family’s recent history consists of 4 countries in the span of 3 generations which gives each unique perspectives through culture and environs. The limited amount of photo documentation from the old countries we’ve kept are extremely precious and archiving them digitally was a natural decision. It is my mission in life to bring the same joy and delight to your family and friends as we reminisce, retell and recapture the memories that are a part of our past.
